James Macnaughton

James is an accomplished actor working across film, television and performance capture. His screen credits include productions for the BBC, Netflix and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He most recently completed filming a major supporting role in the upcoming feature film Highlander alongside Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe.

For Highlander, James undertook extensive weapons, movement and tumbling training with 87Eleven Action Design, the renowned stunt team founded by John Wick director Chad Stahelski, as well as horse-riding training with Steve Dent Stunts. He brings a strong foundation in action performance, with firearms experience on productions including Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion.

An experienced performance capture artist and voice actor, James has contributed to over 40 video games, including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Black Myth: Wukong and Baldur's Gate III.

He trained with the Performance Captured Academy and holds advanced stage combat qualifications. His background also includes several years as an instructor with The Outdoor Exploration Society, where he taught archery, axe throwing and bushcraft, providing practical skills that complement his skillset.
