Cynthia Emeagi

Cynthia Emeagi is a second-generation Nigerian actor from Manchester. Since graduating from Manchester School of Theatre with a BA (Hons) in Acting, she has built a strong career across TV, theatre, and radio.

Her theatre credits include The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, and The Merchant of Venice with the Shakespeare's Globe UK and International Tour. She has also performed in Party Skills for the End of the World (MIF and Shoreditch Town Hall), The Manchester Project at Christmas (HOME Manchester), Box Braids (Hope Mill), Oliver Twist! (Chester Storyhouse), A Christmas Carol (Hull Truck), and Nest (M6 Theatre, UK Tour).

On TV, Cynthia has appeared in Vera (ITV), EastEnders, Hip Hop’s Open Secret (BBC), and Fool Me Once (Netflix).
Her voiceover work includes Braids on BBC Radio 4, and her short film credits feature Ladies’ Day (Sky Arts) and the award-winning White Wedding (YouTube).
